Living is Easy with Eyes Closed, according to Lennon and Trueba

I received an email of a reader who wants to practice her Spanish by watching movies, and I didn't know what film to recommend, until now. I have watched, and loved this film by David Trueba, Vivir es fácil con los ojos cerrados/ Living is easy with eyes closed (2013). It's a story about Antonio, a lovable English teacher who picks up two hitchhikers on his quest to meet John Lennon. It's set in Almeria, Spain. A good film to know more about life in Spain in the 1960s. Enjoy!

Do you remember the song?
¿Te acuerdas de la canción?

Strawberry Fields Forever
Living Is Easy With Eyes Closed,
Misunderstanding All You See.
It's Getting Hard To Be Someone
But It All Works Out,
It Doesnt Matter Much To Me

  1. This will be my next task - when I'm satisfied with my English: to learn Spanish or Italian :) Therefore I thank you in advance for the tip.
